Conrad Liveris

Chairperson

Conrad Liveris is an economist and non-profit executive. He has particular experience in HR and labour markets, management, communications and risk. He currently splits his time between being the executive officer of a non-profit focused on justice issues and as an independent HR consultant and executive.

The ABC has called him “one of Australia’s leading employment and workplace experts”. His advice is sought by decision-makers across business, community and government. He has served on a range of non-profit and government boards, including in chair roles, mainly on health, community and cultural issues. He previously wrote for The Australian newspaper and has been published by the Sydney Morning Herald, The West Australian and outlets in the US, China and Singapore.

Conrad is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society (London), completed an intensive leadership program with the US State Department and worked on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. He holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame Australia and Curtin University. He has undertaken executive education with the Governance Institute of Australia, University of California Los Angeles and Oxford University.
